The SIMPLEST solution is to system link two consoles together: Requires 2 xbox 360 consoles, 2 copies of the same game, and either a network patch/crossover cable or a router (achieves the same thing). Other options include playing over live, but then you wouldn`t need split screen. There is talk of an EXPENSIVE unit that will split the video input into two outputs, and can even cut the video in half to the separate outputs, but everything I`ve ever heard is in the $2k range. Cheaper just to go the system link idea.
