Japanese animation - mainly referred to as 'anime' nowadays - has spread from East Asia's archipelago nation to North America, and has grown to become fairly popular. (It is also pronounced 'ah-nee-may' derived from its original Japanese pronunciation.) This cartooning form, for those who are unfamiliar with it, gave birth to some of the more commonly known anime series in North American culture. To name a few, series such as Pokemon, Digimon, and Sailor Moon took North America by storm. Children wanted to buy the trading card games associated to the previously mentioned, as well as gadgets and toys from the shows. (I can vouch for that - I was once the proud owner of a Pokedex.) In anime, some of the more recurring themes are magical school girls, aesthetically pretty boys, and ridiculously large-in-scale fighting robots. Tom and Jerry

We definitely live in a fast world that usually leaves us tired and exhausted from our daily activities. While some have a way of dealing with that, others do not know what to do to refresh their mind and body. What you need at such a time is fun, and lots of it. Well, treat yourself to Tom and Jerry's never-ending squabbles and you will wind up your day refreshed and in a perfect mood. Ever wondered why Tom and Jerry at times seem to get along well and out of the blue Tom starts to chase Jerry so much, leaving a wave of destruction along the way? To your amazement, Tom will not eat Jerry whenever he has a perfect chance to: Jerry will always find a way out. Watch as Tom is entrusted with varied tasks by his master, including safeguarding of master's food. Jerry will employ all tricks in the book to get the food. Although Jerry may eat the food, he at times simply scatters it all over, resulting in Tom giving Jerry a chase that leaves you wonder. What annoys Tom most is Jerry...

Ever noticed the cartoon shows that were animated before 1950's seem to have more life and exaggeration to it? For example, have you ever compared a 1940's Looney Tunes cartoon to a 1960's Flintstones cartoon? You know before I begin, if you're interested, why don't you Google, sit back relax and take a look at the two cartoon videos I listed below. See if you can point out something different about them, and of course you don't have to watch them. But if you can for fun, just take a peak. The first video is a Looney Tune cartoon short of Daffy Duck/Elmer Fudd called To Duck or Not to Duck. The cartoon short was a Warner Bros. production that was released to theaters in 1943. Yes, that's right 1943... The second show is a Flintstones cartoon, No Help Wanted, which premiered on ABC's TV network in 1960. Yes, Once again 1960...
